Okay so last night I was cashiering as usual and everything was alright until this lady came up to my lane. This lady mad my time a living hell during my first weeks of work by bitching and backsassing me while trying to help her with a printer sale. Now when she came up to my lane, she talked to her daughter and said, "Be careful, they still double scan your items and double charge you." What a bitch...
Then the coupon king came up to my lane. (Not to be confused with the queen, but if we gave them the same name, it would be more funny) This guy buys a bunch of items with coupons that save him around $3 to $5 and gives him a buy one get one free deal. He then returns the items and get a profit. I've seen this guy very often and I swear he buys the same crap every time.
Then the wort enemy. This girl comes up to me and buys something that was around $11.78. She gave me a ten and two ones and after I put the cash in the register, I gave her the change and she said that she gave me a 20 dollar bill so that she would get a ten in change. What a klepHOmaniac. I gave her the ten for times sake. But the creepy thing about this was that she looked like a nice normal girl, the most unlikely suspect by first impression. Don't trust anyone with money

California Wildfires

I live in San Diego, California and unfortunately, we had several wildfires start up a few days ago, worsening everyday. We had an evacuation center near our Target, so people mainly came to us to get food, blankets, and supplies. I was cashiering tonight, so pretty much everything was calm since only a handful of people entered the store. Also, some customers got frustrated because our store donated a lot of food, blankets and pillows to the nearby shelter, leaving the customers with little to buy. Ignorant and selfish customers...

Busy Night and Secret Shopper!

Last night was really hectic. I was on the sales floor and at that time, there was barley anyone else there. On my way to Health and Beauty, my section for the night, I was stopped by not one, but four guests at the same time. One wanted an Ipod from the glass display, one wanted to find some medicine, one wanted to find a pink DVD case, and the other one wanted to find the price of a camera. At that point I wanted to yell out at the top of my lungs, but I kept my cool and helped each guest one at a time starting with the medicine and ending with the Ipod. Geez...
We also had a secret shopper come by Guest Services with an envelope she needed to give to LOD. I asked her if it was fun being a secret shopper and she replied, "Yes, you get to shop for a living!" I also asked if the company gave her money to shop but she only said that they only did that once in a while. If they gave you money all the time, I'd quit my job for that one :)

"Code Khaki"
Last night was actually fun in Target. I was invited to play a game, later named "Code Khaki." The object of the game is to find someone in Target who is wearing a red top and khaki, that is not a team member. Once you find someone, you must go on your walkie and call for someone that is playing in the game and tell the person the exact location of the Code Khaki. After the CK is confirmed, you get a point. The person who finds the most "Code Khakis" wins! I was laughing the whole night! Yeah, it makes time pass by :)
