Idiot Lady in Garden

In Garden today, some lady asks the price of a Christmas tree and assumed that it was 19.99. I scanned it for her and it turned out to be 29.99. She said that she found the tree in the 19.99 section, but she wasn't smart enough to even look at the height description of the trees. She then yelled at me saying, "I don't care, I saw it as 19.99 and my son has been looking for a tree for 30 minutes." Bitch, you better get your eyes checked.
After that incident, everything else got worse. I had to cut tree after tree and there were only two people out in Garden, but thankfully other Team Members came to my rescue. Some asshole played with the chainsaw while I was helping a lady put her tree in her car. I was so pissed off and I wanted to kill that bastard. So outta this entire year so far, this was my worst day yet. Not even the tip made up for it, well maybe it did...

Last Day of the Target Two Day Sale

Well it was the last day of that two day sale and it was worse than yesterday. Thankfully, nothing really happened with any customers, but the worst thing that happened was with a fellow team member. There were three of us in Garden so while I was zoning and the other team member was manning the register the team member (code name K) insists that she go to the morning huddle to let us in on anything important. After fifteen minutes, K exits out the store with her purse through Garden saying that she volunteered to go home early... Who's supposed to cover my break while the other guy is on lunch? Who's gonna help back up the spells of paying customers while someone cuts the trees? That bitch , I mean K, just used the huddle as an excuse to talk to the manager in order to get off work early. Thanks for telling us the important information K; you don't even look real...

Black Friday Spiel

First off, I'd like to thank the blogs Retail Therapy and Retail Hell Underground for adding me to their blogroll list [: Check them out on my blogroll list.
Well for Black Friday, I worked in the God forsaken Lawn & Garden section, of course. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be since no one really complained about anything. People were surprisingly nice. Maybe it has to do something with the economy? I finally got to use the chainsaw again, which makes my job the coolest job in the world for a month.
Anyways, I think tomorrow is gonna be the worst day since its a Saturday, meaning everyone has a day off. Yup, I'm scheduled to be in Garden again and hope nothing stressful happens. But if something does happen, at least I'll have something to write about.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So this Thanksgiving, I was at home all alone because the rest of my family went to Vegas while I had to stay home because I couldn't get my time off requests approved... It was less painful than I thought it would be though. Well since its Thanksgiving tonight, everybody knows what that means, BLACK FRIDAY IS TOMORROW! I work in Garden that day which kinda sucks but at least I get my chainsaw back! I'll let you guys know on what tomorrow brings.

What?!? Tuck in Shirts?

Alright, so we have this new policy in our store where all the guys have to tuck in their shirts... As if wearing red was bad enough. I don't know about your guys' stores, but this policy sucks. Some of the guys untuck their shirts when the main manager isn't around :)
On another note, I apologize once again for not updating as much, I've been too busy with school and I don't work as much, meaning less stories :(

Target Register System Crash

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting much; I've been to bus with school and work. Well today, something big happened. Target stores around the country have had most of their registers down in the store due to a glitch in the register's system. Only four lanes in the front of the store were working and there were four that were open elsewhere.(Electronics, Photo Lab, and two at Guest Services) The lines were packed, but the system kicked in at around 8 pm. Yeah, another day...

Christmas Weekend and Shoutouts!

So it was Thursday, not even the weekend yet, and I volunteered to help out the front lanes. Everything was going well until this customer came up to me say that I scanned her aluminum foil twice. Since she did her payment in cash, I was uncertain that I could do a Fix it Fast for cash payments. I told her to go to Guest Services, but like a bitch she told me that she didn't want to wait in the long line because all the lines in the stores were long. Then I got help from a team lead and everything went okay. After I dealt with that lady, customers were telling me to "Hang in There." I assumed they saw what happened, and I felt a little better. Curse that lady...
I just want to give a shout out to readers Rhah and Bryan! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and comment! Its good to know my stories are being read :)
